Engagement

Jamie Shutters and Ben Showalter of Ames are announcing their engagement and approaching wedding. Parents of the couple are Pat and Emery Shutters of Reinbeck and Cindy Leitner and Jordan Showalter of Iowa Falls.

The bride elect is a 2006 graduate of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School and a 2008 graduate of Ellsworth Community College and is employed by Community and Family Resources in Ames. The groom elect is a 2005 graduate of Iowa Falls-Alden High School and a 2008 graduate of Ellsworth Community College and is employed by Lutheran Services of Iowa in Ames.

The wedding will take place on May 8, 2010 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls. After the wedding the couple will make their home in Ames.

Engagement

Jerry & Bonnie Shinn of Reinbeck are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Tonya Coy Shinn to Andrew James Bell, son of Mary Bell of Tucson, Ariz. and the late William T. Bell.

Andrew is employed as a service manager for Kansas Truck Center in Wichita, Kan. and Tonya will be employed by Monsanto as a research assistant.

The couple will wed in Las Vegas, Nev. on April 17 and currently reside in Haven, Kan.

A wedding reception will be held at the Reinbeck Memorial Building on April 24 at 5:00 p.m. with a dance at 6:00 – ?. Digital Production will be playing. The public is invited.

Engagement

Brooke Nederhoff and Paul O’Kane are announcing their engagement and approaching wedding.

Parents of the couple are Bruce and Dorinda Nederhoff of Grundy Center and Tom and Heidi O’Kane of Creston. Brooke is the granddaughter of Beryl & Charlyne Manlick.

The bride-to-be is employed by Wells Fargo in West Des Moines, and her fianc is a student at Central College in Pella and will attend graduate school at the University of Iowa this fall.

Vows are set for 4 p.m. June 5 at First Christian Reformed Church in rural Wellsburg. A reception and dance will follow at Maucker Union in Cedar Falls.
