Danielle Dobbins of Bloomington, IL and Jeremy Johnson of Kewanee, IL have announced their engagement and approaching nuptials.

Parents of the couple are Bill and Darla Dobbins of Morton, IL, Cari and Mark Haun, Bob Johnson and Gailyn Heidemann, all of Kewanee. Jeremy’s grandparents are Beth Larsen and the late Ernest Larsen.

The bride-elect is a child development specialist at Katie’s Kids Learning Center in Bloomington.

The future groom is employed in the IT department at Kewanee Hospital.

They plan to wed Saturday, June 13, 2009 in Morton, IL.

Sara Luehring & Chad Lenz Engagement

Roger and Terri Luehring, Gladbrook, would like to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sara Lynn to Chad Douglas Lenz, son of Doug and Glenda Lenz of George, Iowa.Sara graduated from Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School and UNI with a bachelors degree in Family Services. She is currently a graduate student in mental health & school counseling at UNI. Chad graduated from George-Little Rock High School and is also majoring in Family Services at UNI. The couple plans to be married on July 11 at the United Methodist Church in Gladbrook.

Engagement

Flater – Pippert

Ashley Flater and Brian Pippert were married on Oct. 18, 2008 in Grundy Center, Ia.

Parents of the couple are Jay and Maxine Flater of Grundy Center and Dixie Cantrell of Cedar Falls, and Tom and Diane Pippert of Reinbeck.

Father Dennis Quint officiated at the 2:00 p.m. ceremony.

Attending the bride were Kate Flater, cousin of the bride, Abbey Flater, sister of the bride, Nicole Pippert, sister of the groom, Aubrey Hulne, friend of the couple and Brooke Flater, niece of the bride was the junior bridesmaid.

Attending the groom were Brad Lokenvitz, Tyler Lyon, Tyler Schildroth and Ryan Woebbeking, all friends of the couple and Chase Boren, nephew of the bride was the junior groomsman. The ushers were Nick Flater, cousin of the bride and Chris Gerit, cousin of the groom.

The bride is a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines and the groom is employed at ABC Electric in Des Moines.

The couple resides in Ankeny.
