Cassie Davis and Wayne Sidles are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

Parents of the couple are Doug and Pam Davis of Reinbeck and Irene Sidles and the late Don Sidles of Spencer.

The couple is employed with the Blackhawk County Sheriff’s Office.

They are planning a 4:00 p.m. ceremony on April 18, 2009 at the Salem Church in Lincoln.

The reception will follow at the Waterloo Elks Lodge.
