Central College Honors

Local athlete receives Central College football honors.

Jake Petersen was recognized for his contributions to the Central College football team this fall.

After three straight Iowa Conference championships and three trips to the NCAA Division III playoffs under head coach Jeff McMartin, the Dutch finished their 2008 campaign at 6-4 (4-4 conference) and placed fifth in the league. The Central football squad will graduate 18 seniors.
