Mary Lou and Daryl Downey of Reinbeck spent Sunday afternoon in Ankeny at the 80th birthday party for Jackie (Robinson) Birdsell of Hampton.

Also present was Mary (Barrer) Jones of Panora. Both were classmates of the Reinbeck High School class of 1955 and hadn’t seen each for approximately 20 years.

Thirty family members and friends spent the afternoon at the home of Anne Birdsell, Jackie’s daughter, celebrating the milestone.
