Dorothy Theresa Koch Messer Akkerman will celebrate her 95th birthday with a family dinner and a card shower.

She was born May 24, 1920 in Grundy County to Fred & Theresa (Stickfort) Koch. She married Norman Messer in December 1949. He died in April 1966. She married John Akkerman on May 24, 1968. He died in August 2003.
