Eldon Wiese will celebrate his 100th birthday on Sunday, January 12, 2014. Eldon farmed for 60 years in Crystal and Spring Creek Townships, near Gladbrook. His family; wife, Dorothy, daughters, Karen (Loren) Larson, Carma Wiese, and Sandy (Doug) Koester will honor him on this special day with an open house at Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook on Sunday, January 12 from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. Eldon has 5 grandchildren, Cindi Larson, Lance (Loriann) Larson, Tami Koester, Kraig (Shelby) Koester and Andrea (Troy) Petersen. He has 10 great-grandchildren. Tim, Daniel and Robert Larson, Helen Koester, Kyra, Cale and Kegan Koester, and Zach, Joey and A.J. Petersen.
