Elaine Ehlers will celebrate her 90th birthday with a family celebration on June 19th. Elaine was born on June 19th to Carl & Kate Nelson near Traer. She married Bob Ehlers on Oct. 16, 1948 and they had three children – Patti (Dale) Richardson of Reinbeck, Jim (Deb) of Wichita and Bill (Kim) of Seattle. Elaine has 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Bob & Elaine winter in Pharr, Texas and spend their summers in Reinbeck with their kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. They will observe their 65th wedding anniversary Oct. 16.
