GREEN MOUNTAIN — The GMG baseball team ended its 11-game losing streak by scoring the last six runs in a 6-2 victory over East Marshall on Tuesday, June 16.

The Wolverines (2-12) cut their 2-0 deficit to one with a run in the fifth before scoring five times in the sixth to prevail.

Drayson Stephenson finished 2-for-4 with a double, a run and two RBIs, while Jacoby Woodbury went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored. Easton Runner, Ethan Klemesrud and Wilken Schmitz each added RBI singles.

Brayton Davis needed just 84 pitches to go the distance for GMG, allowing eight hits and two walks while striking out one.

Cael Neuroth had three hits, an RBI and scored a run for East Marshall (3-12), which lost its 10th in a row. Blake Neuroth added an RBI single. Eli Burns surrendered five runs in his only inning on the mound to take the loss. Austin Crandon allowed one run on five hits and two walks while striking out one in his five innings.
