GREEN MOUNTAIN — The GMG softball team used a seven-run third inning to help rack up a 10-0, four-inning victory over South Tama in Tuesday’s (June 9) non-conference clash.

Sophomore pitcher Riah Boege struck out eight of the 12 batters she faced to lead the Wolverines (4-7) to the win, while Addison Elmore hit a two-run homer.

Kaylee Beach finished 3-for-3 at the plate with a run and two RBIs, while Piper Jones went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Skyler Murty was 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored as well against the winless Trojans (0-10).
