GREEN MOUNTAIN — The GMG baseball team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Colo-NESCO 3-2 in eight innings in last Friday’s (May 29) Iowa Star Conference South Division contest.

Relief pitcher Brayton Davis struck out three in two innings for the win in support of Ethan Klemesrud, who struck out 11 and walked seven over six innings. Klemesrud gave up just four hits.

Jay Bessman had two of GMG’s five hits, while Davis, Wilken Schmitz and Liam Stephenson each added a single. Davis drove in a run while Stephenson scored once and Easton Runner scored twice.
