MESKWAKI SETTLEMENT – GMG senior thrower Jay Bessman set a new school record in discus on Monday, May 4, while competing at the Meskwaki Dream Builders Coed Invitational. Bessman earned bronze in the event with a throw of 143 feet, breaking the previous GMG record of 142 feet, 7 inches set by Connor Murty back in 2021.
