The Drake Relays are hosted each spring by Drake University in Des Moines on the storied Drake Stadium ‘Blue Oval.’ The meet is part of Drake Relays Week – widely considered one of the United States’ top track and field events. This year the Relays take place April 22-25.

At the 2025 Drake Relays, Brant finished as part of a five-way tie for fifth place with a jump of 5-4 alongside Ankeny senior Reagan Hanfelt, Dowling-Catholic senior Alex Gaskell, Maple Valley-Anthon Oto (MVAOCOU) senior Trista Ohlmeier, and Linn-Mar sophomore Claire Lorenz.

The Sun Courier will feature coverage of Brant’s performance at the 2026 Drake Relays in next week’s edition.
