BAXTER – On Monday, April 13, GMG track and field teams traveled to the Neil Seales Sports Complex for the 2026 Baxter Bolt High School Coed Relays. Multiple GMG athletes were crowned champion and/or runner-up during the meet, including:

-Ari Pierce: Shot put champion

-Skyler Murty: Discus champion

-Easton Sash: 400-meter dash champion

-Taelyn Sash: 800-meter runner-up

-Jay Bessman: Discus runner-up

-Jay Bessman: Shot put runner-up

-Skyler Murty: Shot put runner-up

The Lady Wolverines took third overall out of eight scoring teams with 75 points – edging out BGM in fourth place (69). The hosts took first (202), while South Hardin placed second (155).

GMG boys placed 8th with 38 points – a mere half point behind Woodward Academy in seventh. South Hardin took first (161), Des Moines Christian second (133), and the hosts third (123.5)
