G-R’s Mathern honored with all-conference 2nd team selection
REINBECK – Gladbrook-Reinbeck boys basketball senior Trevor Mathern was recently named to the North Iowa Cedar League (NICL) All Conference Second Team. Mathern, a 6-foot-2 guard, led the Rebels in points (313) and rebounds (157) this season. He also led his team and was third in the highly-competitive conference in blocks with 33. In addition, Mathern racked up the second-most assists (75) and steals (43) for G-R.
