GARWIN — GMG girls basketball sophomore Skyler Murty has been named a first-team all-conference pick by the Iowa Star Conference’s South Division.

Murty led the Wolverines this season on both sides of the court, topping her team in points scored with 213 (No. 15 in the conference) and rebounds with 157 (No. 12 in the conference). She also recorded the second-highest number of assists for the Wolverines with 38. It’s the second year in a row on the all-conference squad for Murty, who was an honorable mention selection as a freshman.

GMG senior Macie Sanders received honorable mention after averaging 5.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.4 assists per game.

The Wolverines ended the 2025-26 season 12-11 overall, 8-4 in league play.
