LA PORTE CITY – Gladbrook-Reinbeck senior point guard Elly Sieh surpassed 1,000 career points during the Friday, Jan. 9, NICL road game with the Union Knights. Sieh helped lead her team to victory that evening, contributing 14 points toward fourth-ranked G-R’s 52-14 steamroll of Union. She also had four assists, a team-high five steals, two rebounds, and one block. Sieh’s teammate and fellow 1000 points club member Kennedy Brant managed a double-double, putting up a team-high 16 points and a staggering 18 rebounds.
