MESKWAKI SETTLEMENT — The GMG boys’ basketball team ran into the holiday break with its third-straight win, beating Meskwaki 63-30 on Friday, Dec. 19.

The Wolverines (4-3, 3-2) used a 20-point second quarter to break free for a 38-17 halftime lead over the host Warriors (0-6, 0-5).

Rider Kupka came away with game-highs of 20 points and eight rebounds to lead GMG to victory. Easton Sash had 15 points and five boards, while Ethan Klemesrud got 10 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals.

Jacoby Woodbury and Caleb Ferch both contributed eight points in the win.

Jarvis Bear led Meskwaki with seven points, Jaymison Hill had six points off the bench, while Dontavious Stick-Driscoll and Dorian Velazquez pitched in with five points each.
