WOODWARD — The East Marshall/GMG wrestling team scored seventh out of eight teams at Woodward-Granger’s Dennis Field Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 6, finishing with 52.5 points.

The Mustangs were led by a pair of third-place finishes from Jordan Meling (144 pounds) and Deagan Madison (165). Meling went 3-1 on the day with only a semifinal loss, improving to 6-1 on the season with a pair of pins. Madison (3-4) was 2-2 with a pair of pins.

Hayden Boles (126) and Max Slifer (138) both finished fifth, while Landon Miller (150) and Alex Bautista (285) each scored sixth.
