DES MOINES – Members of the GMG dance team competed on Thursday, Dec. 4, at the 2026 Iowa State Dance Team Championships at EMC Expo Center in Des Moines, bringing home a Division 1 rating in Hip Hop Class I for an eighth-place finish out of 10 teams. “We couldn’t be more of all the hard work and dedication these girls have…the long hours, ‘one more time,’ dancing in all areas of the school for space. We delivered yesterday!” head coach Karen Gale-Hazen (pictured back row, fifth from left) posted to social media of the team’s performance. This year’s roster includes seniors Isabelle Cobb and Jocie Parks; juniors Kenzie Bartel, Gracie Deal, Victoria Dingman, Delaney McCubbin, Emrie Sager, Brynn White, Summer Witte, and Kc Witte; sophomores Bryleigh Bartel, Ava Maddux, Lexie Rosedale, and Allison Tremaine; and freshmen Sienna Alzen, Brooklyn Harned, and Sabriya Witte.
