MASON CITY — The Gladbrook-Reinbeck boys’ cross country team came away with 12th place out of 13 scoring teams at the Class 1A District 4 meet hosted by Mason City Newman on Thursday, Oct. 23, at North Iowa Area Community College.

The Rebels totaled 316 points led by Caleb Pifkin, who came in 31st in 19:02.0 Caleb Bowser was 45th in 19:43.3, followed by Tavin Ruden (89th, 23:47.6), Campbell Gramer (92nd, 24:36.8) and Levi Coughenour (96th, 35:03.9).

G-R’s lone female entrant, Katelyn Monaghan, was 78th in 32:51.9.
