GMG baseball beats back Moulton-Udell
GREEN MOUNTAIN — The GMG baseball team scored in four of its six at-bats to beat Moulton-Udell on Saturday, June 28, in non-conference play.
The Wolverines (7-11) led 3-0 before Moulton-Udell got back to within one in the fourth. GMG responded with a three-spot in the home half of the inning and held off the Eagles (2-13) the rest of the way.
Grady Dieleman and Rider Kupka had two hits apiece to lead GMG offensively. Dieleman doubled and scored twice, while Kupka scored two runs. Easton Sash was 1-for-1 with two walks, an RBI and a run, while Colton Hauser was 1-for-2 with a run. Colin Teske had an RBI single, while Brayton Davis and Jacob Cornwell both drove in a run.
Joaquin Williams earned the pitching win for the Wolverines.
