COLO – The GMG boys golf team recorded its best team score since 2021 during the Tuesday, April 8, Colo-NESCO meet held at Twin Anchors Golf Course in Story County, finishing with a 223 to the host’s 192.

Leading the Wolverine charge on the links was senior Jay Bru who set a personal record with a low score of 45 – the best score of any GMG boys golfer since 2021 and good enough for a tie for runner-up with Colo-NESCO junior Quin McCollom.

Also at Colo, GMG junior Brayton Davis tied for sixth with a score of 58, sophomore Jacob Beaderstadt was eighth with 59, sophomore Jordan Rhodes was ninth with 61, senior Colton Niemeyer and junior Drayson Stephenson tied for 10th with 62, and senior Jacob Cornwell shot 65 for 12th place.
