Dieleman ends 6-year drought

First GMG cross country runner to win a meet since 2018

ELDORA — On Saturday, Oct. 5, GMG cross country senior Grady Dieleman won the South Hardin Invite. He is the first Wolverine to win a meet since 2018.

At the Pine Lake Country Club, Dieleman crossed the finish line in 18:58, while East Marshall’s Austin Pansegrau finished 2nd in 19:19.

The Wolverines were also the top area team in the standings, finishing third with 73 points behind South Hardin (52) and Webster City (62).

Rider Kupka added a fourth-place run for GMG in 20:02, Brayton Davis scored 16th in 21:09, Henry Dieleman 22nd in 21:32 and Drayson Stephenson was the last scorer in 30th in 23:00.
