LE GRAND — The West Marshall wrestling team tallied seven wins by pinfall and put away East Marshall/GMG/Meskwaki with a decisive 60-17 victory over the Mustangs in last Thursday’s cross-county dual.

All 10 West Marshall wins were six-point scorers for the Trojans, who totaled seven wins by pin and three more from forfeits. Piling up the pins for West Marshall were: James Decker (106 pounds), Jon Gonzalez (113), Kinnick Geers (144), Dillon McMorran (150), Wade Weuve (157), Gage Sawyer (215) and Luke Steward (285).

East Marshall had four match victories, highlighted by a pin for Johnathan Edel at 190. Xavier Slifer scored a 15-0 technical fall of Landin Eggers at 126, while minor decisions came from Cooper Lenz (132) and Drew Wheater (175).
