GARWIN — The GMG girls’ basketball team controlled Baxter from the outset, beating the Bolts 67-39 in last Tuesday’s (Dec. 19) Iowa Star Conference South Division clash.

Makayla Pendleton led GMG (6-3, 4-2) with 13 points and nine rebounds, including six offensive boards. Jocee Mason had 12 points and nine rebounds, while Dylan Mathern totaled 10 points, nine assists and four steals. Reese Dieleman added 10 points.
