ELDORA — Gladbrook-Reinbeck boys basketball erased a 14-point deficit to start the fourth quarter but South Hardin escaped with a 53-51 overtime victory at South Hardin High School on Tuesday, Dec. 12.

Michael Boyd scored 21 points with 10 rebounds to lead the Rebels in both categories. Drew Eilers added 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

G-R led 49-47 with 46 seconds left in regulation before South Hardin knotted it back up to send it to overtime.

Lane Luiken led South Hardin with 18 points.

G-R fell to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the NICL West.
