Sports Short: Woodward-Granger breaks free of GMG

WOODWARD — Addie Lego poured in six 3-pointers and a game-high 32 points as Woodward-Granger beat the GMG girls’ basketball team 71-40 on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Lexi Bogardus added 13 points and Andrea Nardini 10 for the host Hawks (3-0).

Jocee Mason tallied 15 points and eight rebounds for GMG (1-1). Adelyn Sienknecht finished with eight points and a team-leading 10 rebounds, and Makayla Pendleton pitched in with eight points off the bench.
