WATERLOO — The Gladbrook-Reinbeck girls basketball team broke away from a halftime tie to beat Waterloo Christian 45-29 in their season opener on Nov. 21.

The game was tied at 19-all at the half before G-R outscored the Regents 10-2 in the third quarter and 16-8 in the fourth.

Elly Sieh led the Rebels with 18 points and four steals, while Lily Dripps finished with 10 points. Olivia Riffey and Kennedy Brant chipped in five points apiecE.
