GARWIN — GMG volleyball player Adelyn Sienknecht made the 500th kill of her high school career during the Wolverines’ match with Meskwaki back on Sept. 7. In front of a hometown crowd in Garwin, the senior player received a standing ovation from many in the bleachers following the milestone accomplishment. GMG swept Meskwaki that night 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 27-25). Heading into this week, the Wolverines were 7-6 (2-1) on the season. After taking on BCLUW on the road Tuesday, the team was scheduled to take a weeklong break from competition before facing Colo-NESCO on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at home.
