BROOKLYN — The GMG volleyball team opened its season with a three-set sweep of BGM last Thursday night.

The Wolverines won by game scores of 25-15, 25-18, 28-26 to claim the non-conference match.

Adelyn Sienknecht led the way for GMG with 11 kills on the night. Olivia Maddux added five kills in the win.

Defensively, Dylan Mathern led the Wolverines with four digs, while Mariah Wood, Hadlee Hempy, Maddux and Sienknecht added two apiece. Maecyn Lewis served 16-for-18 with two aces to lead GMG from behind the line.
