Wolverines drop conference tilt with Colo-NESCO

A slow offensive start was too much for GMG boys’ basketball to overcome on Tuesday, Jan. 24, as a 64-39 loss to the Colo-NESCO Royals dropped the Wolverines to 6-10 on the season and 5-5 in Iowa Star South action.

GMG trailed 22-5 after the first quarter and struggled on offense all night long without Jabari Woodbury, finishing the game at just 24 percent from the floor. Colin Teske was the only GMG player to reach double figures with 13 points on 5-for-12 shooting with two 3-pointers. Kaleb Gill scored six points and Noah Teske had five.

Noah added 12 rebounds – a game high – while Brayden Duden had eight boards.
