GMG’s Lesli Waltermire makes her way through the water en route to a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle race at Thursday’s CIML Iowa Conference girls’ swimming meet at the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA. Waltermire, who swims with the Marshalltown Bobcats team, registered the team’s best result in the pool with her time of 56.15 seconds. Waltermire also swam in the 200-yard medley relay, 50-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle relay. The Bobcats will next head to their regional meet in Johnston on Nov. 4. Photo by Noah Rohlfing
