GMG’s Conner Murty who wrestles with East Marshall advanced to Districts after winning the 220 bracket at the Nevada sectional Saturday, Feb. 6. Murty had a bye for the quarterfinals. He pinned Sean May of BCLUW-SH in the semifinals. In the finals he won be tech fall (3:47 18-1), defeating South Tama’s Kalem Schrock. Murty will compete at Districts Saturday in Williamsburg. Wrestling begins at noon.
