Top-ranked Rebels rough up Union
REINBECK – Joe Smoldt was held to a season-low 21 points with no 3-pointers, but the top-ranked Gladbrook-Reinbeck boys’ basketball team still dispatched Union 71-45 in Tuesday’s cross-NICL contest.
Matt Roeding, Caden Kickbush, Tyler Pierce and Josh Cooley each contributed eight points, while Tyler Eiffler contributed six points and 10 rebounds for the Rebels (6-1). Roeding tallied seven rebounds and five assists, while Kickbush and Pierce both had six boards.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck is back at home Friday night for an NICL West division clash with bcluw.
