Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School honored long-time scorekeeper, bus driver and public address announcer Dick McCreery at halftime of Friday night’s football game in Gladbrook for his 50 years of service to the school. McCreery began keeping the official book at Gladbrook basketball games 50 years ago and has done it ever since. The “Voice of the Gladbrook Panthers” and the “Voice of the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels” was the first recipient of the G-R Booster Club’s Volunteer of the Year Award – 25 years ago.
