A new football season has brought familiarity to the communities of Gladbrook and Reinbeck. We have started our 2014 Flag Football League for grades K-4th grades. We have had a lot of participants with almost 60 kids practicing throughout the week and playing on Saturdays. Twelve kindergarteners, sixteen-1st graders, nine-2nd graders, eight- 3rd graders and thirteen-4th graders make up the Flag Football League.

We appreciate the efforts of our 13 volunteer coaches with all 8 of our teams along with the help of the team parents. The high school football players volunteer their time as they have officiated the games on Saturdays. The City of Reinbeck and G-R Schools for allowed us to use their fields. Michele Knaack for assisted G-R Athletic Director John Olson in the organization of this season.
