REINBECK – Denver outscored Gladbrook-Reinbeck 26-6 in the fourth quarter to overcome a six-point deficit for a runaway victory, 62-48, in cross-NICL play Tuesday night.

Alex Place led the Cyclones (1-1) with 13 points, Bailey Victoria added 11 points and Elisabeth Sage had nine.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck was led by Erin Wentzien with 10 points. Emily Snider contributed nine points while Britney Keller, Hayley Weber and Ellie Stoakes pitched in six points apiece.

The Rebels (1-1) open NICL West Division play on Friday night, traveling to Eldora to face South Hardin.
