Gladbrook Legion Gladbrook Legion will meet at 6:30pm for a light supper on Monday May 16, at the Memorial Bldg. Memorial Day activities will be discussed at the meeting and we need volunteers with flags etc so come and volunteer to help..we need you!

Gladbrook Legion/Auxiliary Memorial Day Dinner Gladbrook Legion/Auxiliary will host a Memorial Day dinner at the Memorial Bldg following services at the All Veterans Park on Monday, May 30, serving from 11-1. Our way of sharing and caring as We Remember.

Gladbrook Farmer’s Market Gladbrook’s Farmer’s Market will be held on Wednesday evenings, 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Gladbrook United Methodist parking lot, starting June 1st thru Sept. Anyone is welcome to sell at the farmer’s market…love to have new vendors!!

Goodwill Truck A Goodwill truck will be at the Gladbrook school after the Gladbrook City Wide Garage Sales on Saturday, June 4th, 2011 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. 

Peace Church Choir Service The Sr. Choir at Peace Church will end their season with special musical selections at the 10:30 worship service on May 15th. Graduates, Hannah Miller, Dalton Behounek, Colton Puls, Stephanie Dilly, and Kyle Warren, will be honored. There will be a potluck dinner following the service. Everyone is invited to come and join us on this joyous occasion.

Taco Supper Garwin 4th of July Committee will sponsor a taco supper, Friday, May 13, serving from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Garwin City Park Shelter House.

Gladbrook City Wide Garage Sales The Gladbrook City Wide Garage Sales will be held on Saturday, June 4th, 2011. If you are interested in registering a garage sale, please contact Kandi Hendricks by May 28th at 641-750-4156 or by email at kandih@iowatelecom.net. When calling or emailing please have the following information ready: name, address of sale and items for sale. Registration fee is $10 per sale site. Registration forms will also be available at Casey’s.
