Holiday Bazaar Donations Needed The Garwin 4th of July Fundraising Committee is hosting a Kid’s Holiday Bazaar on December 12 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. (more information to follow). Kids of all ages can come and purchase a gift for family members. All gifts are $1.00 (five gift limit). Free gift wrapping. The request if for new or gently used unwrapped items, examples: candles, home decor, kitchen items, flashlights, fishing/hunting items, perfume/cologne, misc. tools, ties, screwdrivers, tape measures, jewelry, bath & body, picture frames, etc. NO apparel please! Drop-off locations: Pronto, Lincoln Savings Bank at Garwin, GMG Preschool, c/o Jenni Gray.


Garwin’s 2nd Annual Craft & Bake Sale Garwin’s 2nd Annual Craft & Bake Sale will be held Sunday, November 21, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Garwin Old Grocery Store. Dreamland Productions, Paintings by Dave, Polar Blairs Den, Nuts Nuts and More Nuts, Scentsy, Spencer’s Custom Art Work, Central Iowa Machine Shop and more. Food available at The Garwin Bull. Junior Auxiliary The Gladbrook Jr. Auxiliary will meet on Sat., Nov. 20th, 9:30 at Westbrook Acres. The Juniors will make favors for the December Senior Citizens Dinner served by the Auxiliary on Dec. 10th at the City Center. Chairmen are Sherry Scarf, Melissa Sienknecht, and Jill Baumeier. The Candlelight Christmas Program will be discussed. This is charied by Lisa Reinhard, Jackie Sherman, and Cynthia Eggers.


Gladbrook Tree Lighting Activities & Festival of Trees Gladbrook Tree Lighting activities and Festival of Trees will be Wed., Dec. 1 on Main Street, Gladbrook, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Festival of Trees upstairs in the City Center. Santa Claus will be passing out sacks of goodies! Pictures with Santa and Farmers Market. Trolley rides, popocorn, cider and hot dogs all free beginning at 5:00 p.m.!! Lighting of tree, caroling and prizes at 6:30 p.m. Drawing for prizes.


Siren Testing Garwin Fire Department will test the warning sirens on the 3rd Monday of the month. This will be a year-round policy.


Library Coffee Time Stop in and join us every Friday afternoon at the Gladbrook Public Library at 2 p. m. for coffee and conversation. We might even discuss a book or two. Bring a friend and hopefully brighten your day and ours!! Pat & Karen
