The 76th annual reunion of the descendants of Frederick and Bertha Handorf was held June 13 at the Gladbrook Memorial Building with 21 members present. Sue Koster, Gladbrook, presided in the absence of president Lynn Handorf who was celebrating Claire and his 40th anniversary in Hannibal, MO, with their family. The oldest member present was Maxine Halverson, 85, Marshalltown. The youngest relative was Chloe Schrodt. Sara Schrodt and children from Waukee drove the longest distance. The new officers elected for 2011 were President, Avis Handorf-Guthart; Vice-President, Angie Lookingbill; and Secretary-Treasurer, Claire Handorf. Next year’s reunion will be held June 12, 2011, at the same location in Gladbrook.
