Esther Petersen, 84, Marshalltown, formerly of Gladbrook & Reinbeck, died April 22. Elaine Redechel, 69, Grundy Center, died April 23 at the Grundy Hospital. DeAnne Wrage & Scott Weber were married on April 15. 40 YEARS AGO MAY 10, 1979 Marcia Giesking and Curtis Seymour were married April 28. Harry Smith, 88, died May 3. The “big orange music machine”, Reinbeck’s 63 memeber band received a 1 at large group music contest.
