Mr. & Mrs. Nick Strohbehn, Grundy Center, are parents of a daughter born Oct. 28.

Sara Freese & John Hopkins were married Sept. 23 at United Methodist Church.

Mr. & Mrs. Al Hansen will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on Nov. 21 with an open house.

Vernia Folkerts celebrated her 90th birthday on Nov. 13.

Willis Grimmius, 79, Grundy Center, died Nov. 8 at Allen Hospital.

Allison Volkens will join the roster at Emporia State next year.

Reinbeck School forms I.M.P.A.C.T. team at Reinbeck Elementary School which serves the same purpose as PTA.

Allan Mittler , UCC Church, plans to retire effective Sept,. 1, 1977. He has been pastor of local UCC Church for 16+ years.

Cal Turner to be new pastor of First Baptist Church.

Mr. & Mrs. Mike Martinson, Lincoln, are parents of a daughter born Nov. 6.

Ida Busch, 85, Gladbrook, died Nov. 10 at Westbrook Acres in Gladbrook.

4-6 inches of heavy wet snow fell on Reinbeck and surrounding communities on Monday evening of last week.

Henry Frei, Jr. 91, died Nov. 13.

Wm. Drinknovsky, 86, Hudson, died Nov. 16.

Dr. & Mrs. Jeff Creswell of Crestline, Calif. are parents of a son born Nov. 3.

Forty-seven friends and relatives helped Isabelle Claussen celebrate her 102nd birthday on Nov. 2 at Parkview Manor.

Marlyn Hook, 33, Dike, was killed in a one car accident at the west edge of Cedar Falls.

Mr. & Mrs.Martin Dreesen, Gladbrook, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 8.

New storage shed is under construction at Pioneer.

Carl Wiese, 67, formerly of Reinbeck, died at Roberts Care Center in Waterloo, after a lengthy illness.

Lyle Lorenz, 54, died Nov. 17 at his farm after an apparent heart attack.

NOV. 24, 1966

Mr. & Mrs. Larry Petersen, Whittier, Calif. are parents of a son born Nov. 6.

The R. W. Bicket residence lot at Park & Pine was sold to Mr. & Mrs. Willis Stickfort.

They plan to erect a new house on the lot.

Fire Department was called to the Russell Bown farm north of town to extinguish a grass fire and a car fire when Bob Bicket’s got stuck in the ditch.

Mrs. Earl Greany, 73, Grundy Center, died Nov. 21.
