On behalf of the Iowa River Hospice board of directors, volunteers and staff I want to express a heartfelt Thank You to everyone who has supported our new Hospice Home. We are grateful for all who attended our Open House and to everyone who have supported us through love, prayer, gifts of time, money, talent and expertise. We feel blessed to have the support of so many within our service area of Marshall, Tama, and southern Hardin & Grundy counties and beyond. Our hospice inpatient home will soon be available for acute, respite and residential hospice care. We are currently awaiting the State Fire Marshall’s final approval for occupancy and hope to open sometime in June. As Iowa River Hospice increases services with the new inpatient unit, we will continue to serve those who need end-of life care in their own home, nursing facility or assisted living as we have for over 26 years.
