The Iowa Veterans Home has been closed to the public and the residents have been mostly confined to their rooms. As you can imagine, their daily lives and routines have been disrupted just like yours. One of those routines has been the ability to go to a vending machine and get a candy bar, snack, or pop. The Gladbrook Legion family would like to ask your help in brightening their day. If you could donate pop, any flavor, cans or bottles; snacks especially chocolate bars; and individual bags of chips, cookies, Little Debbie cakes, etc. You can bring the items to the Peace Church anytime and we will deliver to the IVH.National American Legion Auxiliary President Nicole Clapp stopped at the Hometown Family Market and her treats are ready to be delivered.
