Peace United Church of Christ bid a sad farewell to Pastor Joe and Chris Hackett. They are going back to WI to care for his seriously ill father and brother. The congregation honored the Hackett’s with a special service and potluck. The couple have been heavily involved with the Gladbrook Community as well. Both joined the Lions Club, were Boy Scout leaders and members of the Commercial club.Peace Church Board President Beth Miller presented the Hackett’s with Prayer Shawl Afghans made by Hope and Needles Doing Service (HANDS).
