Statement from Mayor Keith Sash Due to Governor Reynolds declaration made on March 17, 2020, the Gladbrook Theater and the Gladbrook Fitness & Wellness Center will be closed until 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2020. The Governors declaration also states restaurants and bars (other than carry-out or delivery), casinos and gaming facilities, mass gathering, and senior citizen center and adult daycare facilities are closed until March 31. In addition, the City of Gladbrook is closing City Hall. City staff will continue to work and provide services electronically, by phone, by mail and when necessary, by appointment, please remember all payments can be put in the drop box outside City Hall. The City of Gladbrook will continue to follow Governor Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Public Health’s recommendations. The Gladbrook Public Library will be closed for four weeks.
