More improvements are planned for the Traer Historical Museum with an Enhance Iowa grant totaling $26,o00 which was supplemented on Monday by $2,600 in added funding by the Tama County Board of Supervisors. The NOW request from the museum will pay for window work, displays, lighting and more. The museum, at 414 2nd St., in downtown Traer, is located in the former Farmers mercantile Building according to museum information. it is in its 30th year, having opened in 1989. Also on Monday the supervisors: •accepted the sole bid of $2,500 for a 2002 pickup truck form Deneen Henle, Toledo. •approved weekly claims totaling $321,036. •met with representatives of Liberty National Insurance.
