Before Judge Fae Hoover-Grinde in Tama County District Court in Toledo:


Christian Allan Potter, 19, rural Tama, entered a written guilty plea to 1st offense possession of marijuana. Judgment was deferred, a civil penalty and court costs totaling $550 were assessed and the defendant was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. he may perform community service in lieu of paying the civil penalty and court costs but was directed to pay a $300 probation supervision fee and to obtain a substance abuse evaluation. Potter was cited on June 16 following a traffic stop on State Street by Toledo Police Officer Shawncey Day.
