This year’s Kid’s Club wrapped up with a bowling party on April 11th.

Kid’s Club is open to all Gladbrook area children in 2nd, 3rd or 4th grades. We meet monthly after school, starting with an after school snack, followed by Bible stories, skits, songs, crafts and games which all reinforce the Bible lesson. We end with an evening meal for the kids with parents picking up the kids around 6:30.

This year’s them was “Fruit of the Spirit” Galations 5:22. Ask any of the kids who attended this year what the 9 fruits are and they will probably recite them for you. The kids were wonderful and we thank the parents, leaders and churches for making this possible.

Kids do not need to have a church affiliation to attend. Kid’s Club is sponsored by the local churches through monetary donations, food donations and volunteers. We had 10 volunteer adult leaders this year and the support of Pastor Joe, Pastor Gideon and Rev. Berry.

This year the kids in all grades were presented with Bibles at the year-end bowling party, Bibles geared toward their age group. We pray that these Bibles will be used at home to learn about Jesus and his teachings. Next year and in future years, Bibles will be presented to 2nd graders or others who did not attend this year.
